If you’ve ever been made fun of for simply being who you are, I know how you feel. If you’ve ever felt like you just don’t belong in this world, then I know how you feel. If you’ve ever felt alone and afraid to talk to someone about your issues, then I know how you feel. I’ve been through depression, anxiety and bipolar disorder just to name a few. In addition, just not knowing where I belong. But I am here to tell you that you can make it through this world in one piece. Like I have been doing and will continue to do.
Being accepted in society just as you are, especially if you are a young child going into adoloscence or your becoming an adult, seems like one of the hardest things that you will ever have to accomplish in your life. You may be bullied at school, things aren’t right at home, school might not be going so good, relationships may be nothing but hurt and confusion and you just feel empty and alone inside. Trust me, we’ve all been through it. Think about it. No matter how you may view another persons life when they are smiling and laughing, we all have our battles and trials to go through. But no matter how bad things get, or how down in the dumps you may feel, please, please, PLEASE never give up hope!
It is OK to stumble and fall in life. Do not be afraid of your mistakes as they are what remind us that we are human. Everyone does. And let’s face it, no one has every single part of their life figured out. Things never really go according to plan these days. Do not worry about fitting in.Just be you. The right kind of friends, thr good and honest ones, will be attracted to the real you. And even though you may not have everything or even anything in life planned out, I want you to know you are loved. It may not be physical love that you feel and experience each day, but I LOVE YOU. And God loves you more than anyone else can.
So start to love yourself and every single part of you. The good things about you and the bad things about you. Nobody is perfect. Turn every negative into a positive. Don’t let those irrelevant mean girls and boys and the temporary loneliness get in your head. They don’t matter in your life. You are the most important person in your life. And no matter what anyone says, be you. Embrace the wonderful, intelligent, humble, graceful human being that you are. And if you ever need someone to talk to, I am here. So feel free to message me. I am always open. Have a wonderful day.
